Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive environment for all passengers.
Duties
- Safely operate a van or similar vehicle to transport students to various destinations.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition before each trip. We use a cleaning service.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a pleasant experience for all students.
- Manage schedules effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a class E; commercial driving experience is preferred, but not required. You may acquire a Class E Driver's License with a computer test at the DMV.
- Experience in paratransit or van driving is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with students and team.
- A commitment to safety and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
