Job Title: Deli Specialist

Job Overview: Megamart CA is looking for friendly, hardworking individuals to join our Deli Department as Deli Clerks. If you enjoy working with food, have great customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, slice, weigh, and package deli meats, cheeses, salads, and hot foods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and work area
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and offering product suggestions
- Stock and rotate deli cases and shelves
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Accurately label and price deli products
- Assist with inventory and product preparation
Qualifications:
- Previous deli, food service, or grocery experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable handling knives and slicers (training provided)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
