Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks.
Must have valid Class B with DOT medical card.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues during deliveries.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate pickups and deliveries effectively.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Skills
- Proficient in driving various types of vehicles, including box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Experience as a courier or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Class B with valid DOT medical card.
