Position Overview:
Slices Restaurant and Grill is seeking a dependable and friendly Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to customers while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a positive attitude, strong time-management skills, and a commitment to representing the restaurant in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food orders to customers promptly and in excellent condition.
- Ensure orders are accurate before leaving the restaurant.
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions with customers.
- Handle payments and provide receipts when necessary.
- Communicate with the restaurant team regarding order status, delays, or customer feedback.
- Assist with other restaurant duties during downtime, such as packing orders or light cleaning.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry food orders weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable with extended periods of driving.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs or through varying terrains as needed for deliveries.
Pay:
- Compensation, commission, and tips.
