Job Summary:
Konstant Dental is seeking an experienced and professional Front Desk Assistant to join our dental office team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, handling patient inquiries and supporting administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone, email and in-person.
- Maintain and update patient recordings in the office system.
- Process payments and handle insurance claims.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Manage office supplies and maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in administration or healthcare is a plus.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software and scheduling systems. Background in Weave and Dentrix is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.51 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
