Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in a medical or dental office setting is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Manage scheduling and appointments for staff and clients.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
- Handle correspondence, including emails and mail distribution.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure a welcoming environment for clients.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes as needed in a medical or dental setting.
- Support office management with various projects and tasks as assigned.
Experience
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with office management procedures and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Experience as a medical receptionist or dental receptionist is a plus but not mandatory.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
