Dental Assistant Position Available
Job Summary:
Join our dynamic dental team as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our growing team. You’ll complete initial patient triage, assistant the doctor in four-handed dentistry, treatment alongside the front office team, sterilize instrumentation and perform chart reviews on a regular basis. We are looking for someone with incredible customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent dental care. Duties:
- Perform four-handed dentistry alongside the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards
- Implement aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow in the clinic
Experience:
●Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certificate required
● At least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
● Current CPR certification
● An understanding of OSHA and HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
● Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer procedures
● Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills
