Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Traveling Sales Representative to join our growing hair shear company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for presenting and demonstrating our premium shears to cosmetology schools, barber schools, and salons. This is a highly interactive role, ideal for someone who is passionate about the beauty industry and thrives in a face-to-face sales environment. This position requires frequent travel, with an average of two weeks away from home each month. You can expect to be on the road approximately five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to cosmetology schools, barber schools, and salons to present and demonstrate our professional hair shears.
- Educate and engage hairstylists, barbers, and students on the quality, benefits, and proper usage of our shears.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school directors, instructors, and salon owners to increase brand awareness and sales opportunities.
- Identify new sales leads by networking with industry professionals and attending industry events.
- Conduct on-site consultations to help clients select the right shears for their specific needs.
- Manage and grow a designated territory by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Keep up with industry trends to better understand client needs and improve product presentations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales not required however preferred.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Comfortable with frequent travel and working independently.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and organized with a passion for sales.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
