Dental Assistant | Full-Time | Westlake/Pico-Union or Boyle Heights, Los Angeles

Seeking a compassionate, bilingual Spanish-speaking Dental Assistant to support general and preventive dentistry services at one of our clinics—located in either Westlake/Pico-Union or Boyle Heights. Final location will be determined after interview based on operational need, so flexibility to work at either site is required.
Dental Assistant Position Overview
- Pay Rate: $23.62/hr. (with performance-based increase potential)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (_No weekends_)
- Location: Westlake/Pico-Union or Boyle Heights, Los Angeles (flexibility required)

Dental Assistant Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and other procedures
- Take and process dental X-rays (digital and traditional film)
- Perform instrument sterilization and prepare treatment rooms following OSHA & infection control protocols
- Conduct temporary restorative procedures such as placing crowns or temporary fillings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, brushing/flossing techniques, and post-treatment care
- Communicate clearly with Spanish-speaking patients, helping reduce barriers to care
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Ensure clinical cleanliness, supply stock, and equipment readiness
Dental Assistant Required Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (minimum 1 year of experience required)
- Dental experience within the last 6 months
- Current X-Ray License and CPR Certification (must be active)
- High School diploma or GED
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- EMR proficiency (experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar systems preferred)
- COVID-19 vaccination compliance required
