MUST HAVE GENERAL DENTISTRY EXPERIENCE
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our patients and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using Opendental
- Manage patient records and update information as necessary
- Verify insurance coverage and process payments
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient referrals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Provide administrative support to the dental office staff as needed
Skills:
- Proven experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficient in using dental office systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Opendental
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical records management and dental receptionist procedures is preferred
