We are a growing, single-doctor family dental practice and we are looking for a friendly, organized and savvy individual with a great attitude to join our front office team. We seek a strong communicator who is eager to take on and master responsibilities, who shows an ability to multi-task smoothly, and someone who genuinely demonstrates that providing a welcoming and positive experience for our patients is always job number one.
Our practice IS NOT corporate or remote equity owned, and we are driven only by our doctor's and our team's collective desire to deliver a truly great dental care experience to NW Ohio and SE Michigan dental families.
Responsibilities for this on-site, team based position include, but are not limited to:
- Warmly welcoming patients to the practice every time
- Professionally answering, returning and routing phone calls
- Creating and updating patient charts
- Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Sending, collecting and verifying patient forms
- Receiving and responding to patient e-mail, text and website inquiries
- Receiving/posting patient payments on accounts
- Assisting the team in cleaning and maintaining all areas of the practice
- Assisting the team in problem solving
- Assisting the office leadership in various related administrative tasks
While we are willing to develop the right talented individual, candidates with dental or medical front office experience will be prioritized, and ideally 1-2 years of experience is sought for this position in our practice. Experience within Dentrix and Dexis dental imaging software are additional positives.
Pay is to be commensurate with experience, abilities and compatibility with the practice and team.
