Summary
We are seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our team at Almost Heaven Family Dentistry in the United States. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing insurance processes and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care without financial barriers. Your contributions will help us fulfill our mission of serving our community with love and grace.
Responsibilities
- Manage insurance verification processes for all patients.
- Ensure accurate coding of medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and coverage options.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and billing processes.
- Handle inquiries related to managed care plans and insurance claims efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental office.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes.
- Ability to read and understand dental EOBs
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and desire to be a team player.
