Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office’s calendar efficiently.
- Handle incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries and providing information about services.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including updating medical history and insurance information.
- Process payments and assist with medical billing and collections as needed.
- Utilize phone systems and administrative software to manage patient communications effectively.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal service delivery.
- Assist in coding procedures using medical terminology for accurate billing purposes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Familiarity with medical coding, billing processes, and medical terminology is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using administrative systems and phone systems relevant to a dental practice.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new systems and processes related to the role.

Pay: $20.55 - $23.84 per hour
