We are currently looking to hire for our Pictures Plus location at Ka Makana Ali'i Shopping Center. We are looking for a Design Consultant who can provide framing, design, and graphic services to customers looking to order a custom frame or print from us. Pay is a base of $17/h plus commissions, which equates to about $17-21/h on average, with the ability to earn more - there is no pay ceiling in this position. We are looking for this person to work between 20-30 hours per week. We offer full benefits, including medical insurance, 401K, paid time off, and an employee discount (25% across all sister brands). Responsibilities:
- Providing superior customer and design services in custom art & framing and printing
- Handling artwork, measuring orders
- Hitting sales goals
- Use of cash register/POS system
Looking for candidates with:
- Customer Service & Retail experience
- Positive, Creative, and Collaborative attitude a must!
- Art/Framing experience, preferred
- Printing experience, preferred
- Design experience, preferred
- Graphic Design experience, preferred
- Adobe Photoshop experience, preferred
- Ability to read/use a tape measure to the 1/16"
- High school graduate or equivalent
Schedule:
- 3-4 days a week, some or most weekends are required.
