RUN Studios, and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a Graphic Designer/Design Systems Specialist to join for an approximate 6-month project!
This role requires 1 day onsite in Seattle, WA.
Graphic Designer & Design System Specialist needed! Are you a designer who loves creating elegant systems as much as you love gaming? We're looking for a Graphic Designer who specializes in design systems to join our client’s creative team and level up their gaming brand. If you geek out over component architecture and get excited about solving complex design puzzles, this could be your perfect match.
You'll be the architect of our client’s Figma-based design system, building a powerful foundation that scales across thousands of touchpoints. Your expertise in Figma's design system features (auto-layout, variables, components, etc) will help transform their creative workflow and deliver at scale.
As a Design System Specialist, You Will
- Create a comprehensive Figma design system that powers our client’s gaming brand's visual presence
- Design an arsenal of smart, reusable components and templates that make design implementation feel like using cheat codes
- Automate creative workflows that turn repetitive tasks into one-click solutions
- Test frameworks to ensure our design system can handle any challenge thrown at it
As an Applicant, You Bring
- 4+ years of design experience (2+ years specifically in design systems)
- Master-tier proficiency in Figma (especially auto-layout, variables, and component systems)
- Proven track record of scaling design systems across major projects
- Strong understanding of the design fundamentals of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, UX, or equivalent experience
- Online portfolio showcasing your design system victories
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Design automation expertise
- Experience with design tokens
- Accessibility knowledge
- Basic front-end development understanding
- JavaScript/Figma plugin development experience
- Passion for gaming and gaming culture

Compensation
Pay Range: $40.00 - $44.00 (Hourly)
The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.
