Hermes Helpers has an opening for Site Supervisor
We are a medium sized family-run home healthcare agency that provides around the clock care to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Summit and Medina Counties. We are looking for a dynamic Site Supervisor!
We are seeking a compassionate individual who thrives on living out our values of helping others. The Program Manager will be an experienced leader who embodies integrity, respect, and collaboration. A bachelors degree in special education, occupational therapy, or social work is a plus but not required.
We work with individuals with developmental disabilities on developing safety skills, every-day life skills, coping mechanisms, and provide behavioral supports. Participants enjoy engaging activities, music, art/pet therapy, cognitive stimulation, and socialization.
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for developing a monthly activity calendar, planning daily routines, and overseeing staff assisting with the program.

Essential Functions:
- Ensures compliance with the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) regulations.
- Assures all record keeping is completed based on DODD and all regulatory compliance standards.
- Complete DODD 8 hour provider training course, CPR certification, and pass BCI/FBI background check.
- Lead, supervise, and support staff.
- Schedule staff and activities according to client needs.
- Licensed driver.
- Communication with County case workers, guardians, and case management teams regarding the individuals we serve.
- Develop goals and supports for the individuals we serve and work towards those goals and implement needed supports.
- Communicate issues with client behaviors to Director.
- Assures that staff is aware of job requirements and behaviors; give consistent and frequent feedback to staff on effective and ineffective interactions with clients. Communicate any staffing issues or concerns to the Director.
- Conduct tours, interviews, and assesses potential clients.
- Plans, implements and evaluates social, educational and recreational programs for clients.
- Oversees client documentation. Assure all required documentation is completed.
- Attends appropriate trainings to remain current with changing service environment and best practices.
- Monitors budget in compliance with the organization’s fiscal policies.
- Reports any incident of abuse or neglect as mandated by state guidelines.
- Must comply with HIPAA regulations and OSHA laws and safety guidelines.

Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications:
- Must have a high school diploma. Bachelor’s degree in special education, occupational therapy, social work, or a related field preferred.
- Must have experience using computer software applications for record management and the ability to quickly learn the organizations systems.
Physical Demands:
- Occasional work outside and in small enclosed spaces.
- Sitting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, standing, crawling, reaching, walking, driving, traveling, kneeling and crouching.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Crisis prevention intervention.
Travel:
- Occasional travel within Summit County.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- A valid drivers license and proof of insurance are required for all work-related travel.
Additional eligibility requirements:
- Satisfactory clearance of a fingerprint-based BCI/FBI background screening.
- Must be able to pass medications.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
