The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for creating, implementing and managing digital media to support business operations and growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Facebook and Instagram posts using Canva following branding guidelines and content calendar
- Choose and implement automatic publishing
- Research and implement best practices to improve engagement on social media platforms
- Assist with newsletter creation and distribution
- Support blog post writing and publishing; Update website and publish blogs using WordPress; Evaluate and potentially use AI - when ethical and appropriate - to assist in written content creation
- Liaison with marketing contacts like newsletters (Madison Mom, Macaroni Kid, etc.), organizations, and events (like 9in|9out, Half-Pint Resale, etc.) that we sponsor; Create flyers or other graphics for the clinic when needed that can be distributed digitally and in person to other clinics and therapists in the Madison area
- Track and reorder branded swag, business cards, postcards, and other marketing materials; Brainstorm, discuss with leadership, and implement other/new marketing ideas, partnerships, sponsorships, etc.
- Complete special projects and assignments to assist in consistent business operations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in marketing, communication or related field
- Demonstrated experience creating digital media content with proven engagement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn other applications
- Advanced skills in utilizing social media platforms, Canva, WordPress and other digital marketing tools
- Ability to foster teamwork and thrive in a collaborative environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, portraying a high degree of professionalism
- Demonstrated adaptability with organizational skills to pivot and multi task when needed
