About the Role
Databricks is seeking a Senior Digital Media Manager III to join our Global Digital Marketing team on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave. In this strategic and hands-on role, you'll ensure seamless execution of high-impact digital media campaigns and operations during a critical transition period.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, you’ll lead digital planning, budget management, and process optimization across global marketing initiatives. This role involves managing two contractors and working cross-functionally with marketing, finance, procurement, and agency partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Process Optimization
- Lead key digital media projects across the marketing organization.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and boost campaign scalability.
- Provide operational oversight for digital operations specialists and agency partners.
Planning & Budget Management
- Manage media planning for quarterly and half-year refreshes across brand and demand initiatives.
- Oversee contracts, purchase orders, and vendor management in collaboration with procurement and legal.
- Partner with finance to handle digital marketing budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and invoice approvals.
Brand Campaign Operations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (creative, customer marketing, and media planners) to execute integrated campaigns across digital, print, and out-of-home (OOH).
- Implement and improve operational processes to support campaign execution.
Ad Operations & Martech Support
- Oversee tracking implementation, including pixel setup and QA.
- Manage marketing technology tool requests and onboarding.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, media operations, or project management.
- Proven success managing complex cross-functional workflows and documentation.
- Skilled in media buying, campaign execution, and digital ad operations.
- Expertise in budget forecasting, reconciliation, and invoice tracking.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel (advanced spreadsheet capabilities required).
- Experienced with Asana or similar project management tools.
- Comfortable working with agencies and distributed global teams.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $56.74 - $134.75 (depending on experience and qualifications)
- Reward Bonus: $6.70 - $8.49/hr (available after 16 hours worked, paid after 1 month)
