The Digital Product Analytics Manager leads the digital analytics function to deliver strategic insights that guide product decisions, optimize performance, and drive measurable business outcomes. This role is responsible for developing and executing the analytics strategy across digital product teams, managing a team of analysts, and serving as a key partner to product, engineering, and executive stakeholders. The Manager ensures that the organization is equipped with actionable data and effective visualizations to inform governance, measure product success, and accelerate innovation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Analytics Leadership & Strategy

  • Own the analytics strategy to evaluate digital product performance, customer engagement, and feature effectiveness across all product areas.
  • Develop analytics roadmaps in alignment with product and corporate priorities.
  • Advise product leadership and senior stakeholders using strategic insights derived from performance data and experimentation outcomes.
  • Synthesize quantitative findings into strategic insights that guide product enhancements and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Establish, maintain, and standardize key performance indicators (KPIs) across product lines to support consistent data-driven decision-making.
  • Guide the implementation of product analytics platforms and champion analytics tooling, data visualization standards, and statistical validation methods.
  • Lead and support product experimentation, including A/B testing, and report on performance, customer engagement, and statistical outcomes.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Serve as the key analytics partner to Digital Product, UX/CX, and Engineering leaders to ensure data-driven decision-making across the product lifecycle.
  • Represent the analytics function in governance, planning, and cross-functional working groups.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Development teams to design and support scalable, reliable data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Engage with Product Owners to identify relevant data elements, maintain KPI visibility, and drive prioritization based on insights.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital product analysts, setting clear goals, overseeing workload distribution, and conducting regular performance assessments.
  • Build team capabilities through skills development, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices in product analytics.
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate analytics maturity across teams.

Operational Analytics & Reporting

  • Ensure the integrity and scalability of analytics data through strong data governance, tooling selection, and collaboration with data engineering.
  • Establish and maintain measurement frameworks and dashboards to provide visibility to business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve analytics operations, including tooling, data quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Perform exploratory and statistical analysis to uncover actionable insights.
  • Create intuitive, impactful data visualizations and dashboards to enable self-service access to real-time metrics.
  • Support reporting needs for stakeholders including sprint performance, product engagement, and strategic KPI tracking.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Quantitative Methods, or Digital Product Analytics preferred.

Certifications

  • Relevant professional certifications preferred. Such as:
  • Certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM) - Scrum.org
  • Certified Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) - Scrum.org

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in product analytics, digital data analysis, or business intelligence roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading teams or mentoring junior analysts in a digital product environment.
  • Proven experience translating analytics into executive-level product and business recommendations.
  • Track record of building and scaling analytics functions, including process design, tooling, and governance.
  • Demonstrated experience using analytics to support product lifecycle stages—ideation, launch, improvement, and sunsetting.
  • Experience working in an Agile or product-driven environment, closely aligned with Product Management and UX Design teams preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital tracking frameworks, event-based analytics, and tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel preferred.
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to translate strategic goals into analytics plans and performance metrics.
  • Fluency in agile product development environments, with experience prioritizing analytics delivery in support of sprint and quarterly roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including influence, expectation-setting, and cross-functional alignment at senior levels.
  • Proficient in SQL and data transformation using tools such as dbt, Python, or R.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Strong knowledge of data validation, statistical modeling, and experimental design (e.g., A/B testing).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear business narratives.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality analytics outputs on time.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking:
  • Ability to translate business goals and user needs into product features and roadmap priorities.
  • Demonstrated strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture while managing detailed requirements.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage expectations, facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and influence decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Collaboration and Problem Solving:
  • Effective at cross-functional collaboration with Product Managers, UX Designers, Engineers, and Analysts to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills to assess risks, remove roadblocks, and drive progress in ambiguous or dynamic settings.
  • Quality and Delivery Focus:
  • Strong commitment to quality assurance, UAT facilitation, and defect triage to ensure high-quality, user-ready product releases.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively under pressure while balancing new feature delivery with ongoing support and platform stability.
