Responsible for optimizing SCI consumer-facing online products & services site experience including onsite and off-site vendor management and ensuring the sites are fulfilling brand promise as well as increasing site traffic to ultimately increase sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage SCI Funeral and Memorial Planning Site
- Identify and manage all onsite enhancements, gaining consensus across teams, drafting business requirements, prioritizing features, optimizing the user experience, managing content and design development, and ensuring timely releases of these enhancements
- Direct both internal and external teams to accomplish this objective
- Evaluate and contribute to information design and content organization; work with UX partners to develop wireframes and user flows; oversee user testing/research
- Ensure legal and editorial approval workflow for content creation
- Work with the Brand Marketing team to ensure a consistent look, feel and voice throughout all digital products & services
- Identify and act upon opportunities for improvement on existing site functionality
- Research site issues and resolve or prioritize the resolutions efficiently
- Project manage the enhancements to ensure timely delivery
- Keep current with emerging web technologies & best practices in usability & design
- Drive site traffic
- Analyze results and marketing plans continuously to ensure optimization; develop thoughtful, insightful reports in order to manage the communication of findings with leadership
Oversee Online Products & Services and Identify New Service Offerings
- Develop quantifiable goals for each product/service offering and oversee all necessary steps to accomplish goals
- Manage the development of KPI reports and share with leadership daily/weekly/monthly
- Establish and maintain strategic online partnerships
- Lead meetings with all interested groups (marketing, products, legal, third-party service providers, etc.) to evaluate performance of products/services and identify any changes
- Partner with other members of the digital team and external partners to drive traffic to the products/services and improve click-thru/purchases
- Oversee A/B testing and multivariate testing implementation to optimize results
- Create/manage SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to ensure customer satisfaction
- Constantly consider and test other online product and service initiatives
Managing Staff
- Day to day management of staff including performance management, development, coaching, salary planning, succession planning, hiring, disciplining. Establishes annual goals that support department and company objectives.
- Manage staff workload, priorities, and deadlines renegotiating as appropriate in a dynamic environment.
- Responsible for ensuring ongoing staff training on processes, procedures, and policies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, E-Commerce, Industrial Design or related field
Experience:
- At least nine (9) years’ developing digital products/services and e-Commerce experience
- Experience with content management systems and integration with ecommerce platforms
- Experience managing company-wide projects, managing stakeholders, leading meetings, developing project plans as well as delivering on-time and within budget.
- Knowledge of outbound targeted campaign planning and execution for the business-to-consumer space
- Understanding of coding principles and web technologies
- Experience with SEO and conversion strategies
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Analytical and business acumen; quick to recognize trends and revenue opportunities
- Clear and articulate verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to delegate, manage, and prioritize the work of others as well as self-manage workload to achieve deadlines; re-negotiating as appropriate in a dynamic environment
