What you'll do
The Dietary Server/Aide at Cumberland Trace plays a crucial role in ensuring that residents receive nutritious and appealing meals that cater to their dietary needs. This position involves not only serving food but also engaging with residents to enhance their dining experience and promote a sense of community. The Dietary Server/Aide will work closely with the kitchen staff to understand menu items and dietary restrictions, ensuring that each resident’s preferences are met. Additionally, this role requires maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere for all. Ultimately, the Dietary Server/Aide is essential in supporting the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents through quality meal service.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring that dietary restrictions and preferences are respected.
- Engage with residents during meal times to foster a welcoming and friendly dining environment.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of dining areas, including washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to understand daily menus and any special dietary needs of residents.
- Report any resident concerns or feedback regarding meals to the dietary manager for continuous improvement.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a food service or healthcare environment.
