Position Summary
The Director is responsible for identifying and enrolling eligible patients into the CMH program, supporting telehealth services, maintaining and growing clinical and social program services, reaching out to and managing relationships with providers, connecting with community partners, and overseeing the in-house doula program and mobile health services.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Develops and maintains a strong understanding ofthe clinical and supportstaffing needs as well asthe financial needs ofthe CMH.
- Works closely with CMH executive leadership to maintain an adequate level of private/public/organizational funding to achieve desired results within the community.
- Demonstrates stewardship of operational budget dollars by maintaining excellent records, timely reporting on the use of these funds, and consistently demonstrating to Center leadership how these dollars are being spent to improve the lives of women and families served by the CMH.
- Builds effective working relationships with community partners, leaders, and physiciansto represent and promote the work of the CMH.
- Possesses excellent communication and presentation skillsfor a wide range of audiences.
- Recruits, hires, and develops CMH team members.
- Works with the CMH executive leadership team to design and implement a multifaceted funding plan.
- Actively participates in regular conversations with community partners who provide services at the request of the CMH to ensure goals and expectations are met.
- Participates in planning related to CMH presence in the community and how the CMH compliments the broader work of Orlando Health.
- In conjunction with CMH executive leadership, develops and implements advocacy efforts that highlight the work of the center and raises awareness of the importance of reducing severe maternal morbidity.
- Ensures a high level of visibility for the CMH and the clinical and social driversthat are the focus of the program.
- Develops and maintainsregulatory and safety compliance for allservices offered as part ofthe CMH
- Maintains and revises policies, procedures, and protocols as needed to meet all licensing and funding agency requirements(i.e. Joint Commission, local, state and federal regulatory and funding agencies).
- Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and proceduresforself and team.
- Maintainsreasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA, and other federal,state,
Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, Mental Health Services, Non-Profit Management, Psychology, or Social Work
Experience
Seven (7) years of successful management and leadership experience; experience working with collaborative community initiatives preferred
