FAYCO Enterprises, Inc is looking for a Direct Support Professional that has a strong desire to have a positive effect on adults with developmental disabilities and a commitment to supporting and promoting their individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals.
The successful applicant for the Direct Support Professional will provide services to individuals with intellectual disabilities within the Day Services Program. This is a part time position, day time hours, Monday thru Friday. The successful applicant would work during the absence of a regularly scheduled staff member, as well as drive a scheduled route in their absence. This position would be on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care and support to individuals within the Day Services Program
- Observe and report changes in patients' conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their physical and emotional health.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Successfully complete Direct Support Persons training within 120 days of hire (This is a paid training)
Valid Driver's License
Good Driving Record
Be at Least 21 Years of Age
Be Able to Lift
This is a part-time as needed position
Paid training to become a Direct Support Professional (DSP)
