Metropolitan Community Services (MCS) has a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position to fill immediately. This individual is looking for a younger male DSP (IHS with Family training).
Also would require working on weekends.
The shifts will be 12 hours spread out through each week.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Transportation
- Assisting with independent living skills
- 12 hours a week
- Providing family with formal parental support/training with client
- Help complete paperwork
- Help setting up and tracking appointments
- Taking client in the community to go shopping and for rec and leisure activities such as exploring learning to play golf.
Requirements:
- English-speaker
- Calm demeanor
- Experience as a DSP
- Pass a background check
- Experience working with minors
- Experience working in schools is preferred
- Experience working with ASD
Additional Details:

- All hired DSP's will be provided training that is available online.
- MCS doesn't reimburse for mileage at this time.
- MCS is a non-profit organization.

Pay: $24.75 per hour

- Monday to Friday
