Job Summary

The Director of Benefits at onsemi plays a critical role in shaping the employee experience by leading the design, implementation, and management of comprehensive benefits programs. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CEBS, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in employee benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state benefits regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA, ACA).
  • Proven success in managing complex benefits programs and vendor relationships.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience in data reporting and trend analysis.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in budget planning and cost forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement innovative, inclusive, and cost-effective employee benefits programs.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, brokers, and consultants.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and compliance across all benefits programs.
  • Oversee benefits enrollment processes for new hires and existing employees.
  • Analyze benefits utilization and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Recommend policy enhancements based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and executive leadership to align benefits strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs.
  • Develop and distribute clear, engaging communication materials to educate employees on their benefits.
  • Conduct employee surveys to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Handle escalated employee concerns and provide expert guidance.
  • Participate in the design, renewal, and negotiation of benefits plans.
  • Manage the benefits budget and forecast future costs.
