Summary
We are seeking a Director of Clinical Services to lead our clinical team at Southern Iowa Mental Health Center. This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality mental health and substance use disorder treatment services and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering an environment of collaboration and support among staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations and ensure the delivery of effective mental health and substance use disorder treatment services.
- Manage and supervise clinical staff, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Oversee the ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) team. Ensure the program is meeting client and state code needs and requirements.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to meet the needs of clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards regarding patient care.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, maintaining high standards for medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Facilitate training and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Develop new programming as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, or related field; independent licensure required.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a mental health setting.
- Strong understanding of medical records management and documentation standards.
- Superior computer skills, particularly in the area of Electronic Health Records.
- A personal belief in recovery principles, for all clients, regardless of their stage of change.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Experience in developing care plans and managing clinical operations.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $98,294.00 per year
