As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Director of Field Operations to oversee all field-related activities and help drive operational success in our commercial masonry division.
Position Overview:
The Director of Field Operations will be responsible for leading all on-site construction efforts across multiple commercial masonry projects in the Dallas area. This senior-level role will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in commercial masonry, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong ability to coordinate field operations across teams, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and support all field crews working on commercial masonry projects
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure effective scheduling and execution
- Oversee daily field operations including labor allocation, site logistics, materials delivery, and safety compliance
- Enforce high standards for jobsite safety, quality control, and productivity
- Act as the primary liaison between the office and field teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on goals
- Mentor and develop field staff to promote a high-performance culture
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve any issues affecting timelines or budgets
- Assist in hiring and workforce planning to meet the demands of upcoming projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial masonry construction, including at least 5 years in a field leadership role
- Strong knowledge of masonry systems, site management, and construction processes
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple teams across several projects
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Deep commitment to safety, quality, and team development
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various job sites in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
