Director of Laboratory

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, including scheduling, staffing, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
• Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide scientific and technical leadership to laboratory staff and support their professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to develop research programs and projects that support the organization's mission and goals.
• Provide technical guidance, consultation and support to researchers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to grant writing and manage laboratory budgets.
• Ensure laboratory compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders and act as a liaison between the laboratory and other departments.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Director of Laboratory: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Medical Technologist (Preferred)
