Job Description Highlights
This position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating all activities required in providing nursing care and services to all patient groups while ensuring compliance with professional standards of nursing practice and regulatory agency standards. Primary activities include but are not limited to;
- Direct supervision of Nursing Supervisors and licensed nursing staff;
- Monitor care and treatment; assessment of patient progress and care needs;
- Ensure documentation of care and treatment to meet regulatory & benefit provider requirements.
- Participate as a member of the facility’s Senior Management team contributing to the formulation of plans, objectives, budgets, operating strategies and staff assignments to ensure optimum care to residents, operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Lead the establishment of facility objectives, evaluative or operational criteria and policies – procedures for licensed nursing and nursing assistant staff.
- Coordinates and participates in patient care conferences providing continuous updates of evaluations of effectiveness of treatment plans and interventions.
- Maintain awareness of advances and/or changes nursing, resident care, licensing regulations, safety and management.
- Participate in continuing education of the Licensed Nursing staff including state health statutes, administrative rules, Company policies, work methods and procedures.
- Foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration by establishing and maintaining regular, open communication with medical staff, family members, department heads and staff members.

Pay: $160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
