Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to lead the execution and optimization of our healthcare service programs. This role is ideal for a clinically grounded operational leader who understands the realities of care delivery—and can translate that into scalable, efficient processes across the organization.
The Director of Operations will oversee a multidisciplinary team, ensure program compliance, lead performance audits, and help scale initiatives like chronic care management and remote monitoring. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic thinking and a strong command of day-to-day operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Productivity
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including clinical staff, program coordinators, care managers, and support personnel
- Establish performance benchmarks and KPIs for individuals and teams; proactively identify and resolve productivity issues
- Create clear workflows, accountability structures, and feedback loops to foster a high-performing, engaged team
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, and professional development across operational roles
Program Oversight & Clinical Operations
- Manage and optimize clinical and administrative operations for programs such as Chronic Care Management, Remote Patient Monitoring, Transitional Care Management, and Behavioral Health Integration
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to ensure protocols and processes reflect best practices and regulatory guidance
- Oversee care coordination workflows and ensure timely, effective engagement with patients and providers
- Leverage clinical knowledge to support decision-making, documentation review, and quality improvement initiatives
Program Audits & Performance Evaluation
- Design and execute regular program audits to evaluate documentation quality, billing compliance, and adherence to clinical standards
- Analyze operational and clinical metrics to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
- Deliver audit findings and performance reports to executive leadership with actionable recommendations
Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Ensure operational compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and clinical documentation standards
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs to maintain and enhance compliance readiness
- Act as a liaison with legal and compliance partners during internal and external audits or regulatory reviews
Strategic Operations & Scaling
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning, budget forecasting, and resource allocation
- Identify and implement tools and technologies to streamline operations and enhance the patient and provider experience
- Oversee vendor relationships and manage third-party integrations related to care coordination, technology platforms, and support services
- Contribute to innovation in care delivery models, helping shape new programs and services as we grow
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree or clinical licensure (e.g., RN, LCSW, NP) strongly preferred
- 5+ years of operational leadership experience, ideally in a clinical or healthcare services environment
- Demonstrated experience overseeing or supporting care management programs, case management workflows, or value-based care initiatives
- Direct experience managing programs such as CCM, RPM, TCM, or similar care coordination services is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, CMS billing requirements, and clinical documentation best practices
- Experience with performance audits, quality assurance programs, and operational analytics
- Tech-savvy mindset, with experience using or implementing health tech platforms, CRMs, and EHRs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
