What You'll Do:
- Lead and oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance pharmacy services, operational efficiency, and patient care.
- Mentor and manage pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and medication safety.
- Manage the pharmacy budget, including inventory, purchasing, and financial reporting.
- Implement and maintain robust quality assurance programs to ensure accurate and safe medication dispensing.
- Stay current with pharmaceutical advancements and integrate new technologies and practices.
- Oversee pharmacy information systems and ensure proper medication handling, storage, and disposal.
- Develop and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures, monitoring performance metrics for continuous improvement.
- Participate in hospital initiatives and committees related to medication use and patient safety.
Located in Kern County, CA
What You’ll Bring:
- License: Active and in-good-standing California Pharmacist License
- Education: Pharm. D.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role, particularly in a pharmacy setting required, 1-3 years related pharmacy experience in an Inpatient or Rehab environment highly preferred. Infusion clinic experience preferred. Need solid experience on Policy & Procedures (crosswalk), Regulatory/Compliance, Bluesight, MERP, ASP, P&T, Pharmacy Chargemaster. 340b experience is needed.
- Screening: Must pass a background check, drug screen, and health screening
