Advanced Pharmaceutical Consultants, Inc is a pharmacy management company that specializes in behavioral health and drug treatment centers by providing pharmacists, technicians, automation as well as expertise. We are currently seeking a licensed, Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a behavioral health hospital in Ocala, FL.
Hours: 8:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. 35 hours/week
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines Preferred.
- Hospital Experience preferred.
- Active registration with Florida Board of Pharmacy REQUIRED-Please include registration number on Resume.
- National certification preferred
- DUTIES:
- Unit dosing of oral medications.
- Inventory Control functions: checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies
- Placing orders with vendors, verifying receipt
- Removing outdated drugs
- Ensures medication availability by maintaining/stocking Automated Dispensing Machines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
