Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage new and existing equipment and logistics suppliers
- Negotiate Supply Agreement, Purchase Orders, and Logistics Agreements
- Actively manage and coordinate procured material from supplier to site, including insurance, delivery coordination, warehousing, etc
- Coordinate with internal and outside counsel in support of Agreement negotiations
- Coordinate with the internal Development and EPC teams as well as outside consultants on an as-needed basis to ensure that projects are meeting development and construction milestones, procurement and logistics risks are being mitigated, and project returns are maximized
- Initiate and maintain relationships with suppliers of existing and emerging technologies
- Maintain close contact across the procurement landscape to anticipate and mitigate changes in supply and logistics
- With assistance from Project Management and Project Engineering manage the EPC contractor RFP process including development of EPC data room, proposal review and comparison, EPC selection, and contract negotiation
- Lead internal approval process for execution of procurement contracts
- Maintain supplier database with core project inputs and status updates, including development and management of supplier pre-qualification process
- Assist in acquisition of development assets and/or platforms on an as needed basis
- Support the Development and EPC teams on an as-needed basis with research, analysis and in-person meetings or phone calls
- Support the Power Marketing teams on an as-needed basis for RFP responses and other off-taker outreach
- Support the Finance team on an as-needed basis for debt and tax equity agreement support

Research emerging renewable energy technologies and identify new prospective solutions
- Exceptional organizational, communication, decision making/problem solving, analytical and time management skills
- 6+ years’ experience administering procurement contracts for utility scale photovoltaic and battery storage components including, but not limited to, modules, inverters, transformers, racking, and batteries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Office
- Able to demonstrate experience dealing successfully with peers, subordinates, management, and unaffiliated third parties
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills
- Passion for renewable energy industry

BA/BS degree required with concentration in business, finance, economics, engineering, and/or other quantitative/environmental fields
