Responsibilities:
- Meet with the Department within five business days of issuance of Purchase Order to begin project initiation. Meeting must be documented through meeting minutes. Meeting minutes must be submitted to the Department contract manager within five business days following the meeting. The meeting minutes must document the following:
- o Date of meeting
- o List of attendees
- o Summary of information discussed during the meeting.
- Collaborate with the Department to establish short and long-term objectives for operational support, as directed by the Department.
- Participate in regularly scheduled OMMU calls and meetings related to program operations, as directed by the Department.
- Provide consultation to external providers and OMMU management, and other partners regarding program operations as directed by the Department.
- Develop and maintain project artifacts and documentation related to program operations, as directed by the Department.
- Assist Department management with coordination, scheduling and tracking of the external providers related to contractual services provided to Client as directed by the Department.
- Weekly, develop and maintain weekly/monthly updates using MS Word, Excel, Project or other software tools or applications as directed by the Department.
- Provide a monthly summary documenting the activities performed during the month. Summary must be submitted to the Department contract manager. within 15 calendar days of the end of each month.
- Develop and maintain a project/program plans and tasks assigned to technical team and users as assigned by the Department.
- Develop work estimates for system enhancements or new development with business and technical teams as assigned by the Department.
- Develop user acceptance testing (UAT) plans with the business and technical program teams as assigned by the Department.
- Coordinate interaction with the customers, users and stakeholders to keep the program and technical team focused on the right goals as assigned by the Department.
- Create, maintain and refine detailed program plans (including work breakdown structures), tracking schedules and technical performance and leading both the business and technical teams as assigned by the Department.
- Assembling technical plans and teamwork assignments including risk identification and management.
- Ensure functional requirements of systems aligns with business operations and process needs.
- Direct and monitor work efforts daily, including Logistics Management, resource needs, quality assurance and scheduling.
- Review and approve vendor change requests as aligned with technical and business requirements.
- Maintain requirement traceability matrices and ensure reconciliation with vendor deliverables.
- Evaluate and approve technical deliverable estimates proposed by technology vendors for system enhancements and bug fixes.
Potential candidate must possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree or a related field or equivalent experience required.
- A minimum of five years of experience implementing regulatory requirements of medical marijuana.
- A project management professional certification by Project Management Institute.
- A minimum of five years of experience performing project management for implementation of governmental initiatives.
- A minimum of five years of experience with procurement and contract management.
- A minimum of five years of experience analyzing processes.
