Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations, contributing to a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash.
- Assist in the organization of kitchen supplies and inventory management.
- Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly during meal preparation and service.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with food prep tasks as needed, including bussing tables and assisting cooks during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with culinary operations in settings such as restaurants, hotels, catering services, or banquets is a plus.
- A strong work ethic with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with team members.
