Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by regularly cleaning work areas, floors, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
- Support banquet and catering events by ensuring timely availability of clean dishes and utensils.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing away used dishes to maintain a tidy dining area.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining a sanitary work environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with kitchen staff.
- Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus.
