Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling.
- Support the culinary team during peak hours by bussing tables and ensuring timely service.
- Ensure that all food safety standards are followed in accordance with health regulations.
- Help set up for banquets or catering events as required.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols in food handling.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration with colleagues.
