Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dismantler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for disassembling various types of vehicles , ensuring that all components are handled with care and precision. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with a variety of tools, including hand tools and power tools, to effectively dismantle vehicles while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently dismantle vehicles and machinery using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Inspect components for wear or damage and determine if they can be reused or recycled.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assist in the dismantling process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks during the dismantling process.
- Document parts removed from vehicles and maintain accurate inventory records.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or similar fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is essential.
- Previous experience in dismantling or recycling operations is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately while maintaining high-quality standards in work output.
