iCare Transportation Services seeks energetic customer focused individuals to join our growing team.
Position Purpose:
The dispatcher is responsible for providing superior customer service to internal and external sources delivering "limo-like" transportation services for mobility impaired individuals by vehicle and assistance with ambulation or wheelchair.
Principal Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
The person in this position must be able to:
- Receive non-emergency calls and record significant information
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
- Use radio, phone or computer to send drivers and/or vehicles to appropriate locations
- Monitor the route to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
- Provide vehicles with information about transports, traffic, obstacles and requirements
- Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information
- Completes all necessary paperwork and customer contact forms.
- Attends training education sessions as required.

The employee frequently does not have control over the pace or volume of the work.

Qualifications and Skills
Prior experience as a dispatcher is required. Tech-savvy individuals with CAD experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
