Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional bathing services to our furry clients. Your passion for animals and attention to detail will ensure that each pet receives the highest level of care and comfort during their grooming experience. This position requires a strong understanding of animal behavior and handling.
Responsibilities
- Bathe and dry dogs and other pets according to their specific needs and breed standards.
- Handle pets gently and safely, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including washing towels and cleaning equipment after each use.
- Assist in the restraint of animals during grooming procedures to ensure safety for both the pet and staff.
Qualifications
- Need some experience in dog handling, animal care, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger breeds or equipment.
- Knowledge of general animal behavior to assess the temperament of pets during bathing and grooming processes.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.75 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
