Summary
As a Dog Daycare Attendant at Dog Gone Rite, you will play a vital role in the daily care and supervision of dogs in our facility. This position is essential for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our furry guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Assist with feeding, grooming, and administering medications as needed.
- Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners during drop-off and pick-up times.
- Help maintain accurate records of each dog's activities and health status.
Requirements
- Experience in animal handling or working in a pet care environment is preferred.
- Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage various breeds and temperaments, intervene when necessary to prevent disputes.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Basic knowledge of animal behavior and health is a plus.
