- Are you the wrangler everyone turns to when things get chaotic?
- Ready to go beyond supervising dogs—and start shaping the daycare environment itself?
We’re hiring a Dog Daycare Attendant/Enrichment & Behavior Specialist to elevate our structured playgroups, enrichment offerings, and behavior culture. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the yard but is ready to have a voice in how it runs—without becoming a manager.
You’ll still supervise playgroups—but you’ll also:
- Lead structured enrichment routines
- Mentor wranglers on dog dynamics and redirection
- Document behaviors and help shape intervention plans
- Rotate through groups with intention—not just coverage
- Give input on groupings, evaluations, and program ideas
This is a step up role—not a leadership title, but a leadership mindset. If you're tired of just doing what you're told and want to build better systems, we want to meet you.
Requirements:
- 1+ year in a professional dog daycare
- Confident handling off-leash groups of 8+ dogs
- Strong understanding of canine body language
- Team player with a proactive, solution-focused attitude
Bonus if you have:
- Positive reinforcement training background
- Experience writing report cards or behavior notes
- Fear Free, CPDT, or similar certification (or interest in pursuing one)
Perks:
- Career pathing into behavior, enrichment, or training
- Autonomy without the pressure of managing staff
- Bring your pup (after evaluation)
- $20–23/hour + performance bonuses + employee discounts
Ready to step up without selling out?
Apply today and help us build a smarter, more intentional daycare experience—one playgroup at a time.
