Job responsibilities include:
We're looking for a responsible, energetic individual to help supervise and safely manage groups of dogs, transport them throughout the facility, and maintain a clean, healthy environment. The ideal candidate is attentive to dog behavior, able to spot signs of illness, and committed to providing top-notch care. You'll also play an active role in our enrichment program, including outdoor play, walks, training games, and puzzle activities.
This is a Monday-Friday position and the shift hours will vary between 7am and 6:30pm. We are looking to fill a full time position.

What we’re looking for in a candidate:
- Previous professional experience in the pet care industry (e.g., vet tech, dog walker, dog sitter). Note: Personal pet ownership alone does not qualify.
A strong interest in learning about dog behavior, body language, and group dynamics. - A desire to grow within the role and advance to positions like Pen Supervisor.
- A positive, easy-going attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes.
- Ability to work in a loud environment—yes, dogs bark!
- Excellent time management and punctuality.
- Reliable transportation (we’re conveniently located on an MBTA route).
Be on your feet for up to 8 hours.
- Lift 50+ lbs.
- Work with both small and large dogs.
- Kneel, crouch, and walk for extended periods.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
