The Drayage Operations Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining, and supporting all of NFI Port Services Drayage systems and processes, both internal and external, while ensuring data integrity in all information systems. The focus of this position is to ensure NFI Port Services meets all business requirements, while providing “value-add” efficiencies to our operations. The role is to support Drayage related systems, functions, and processes throughout the organization. This position reports to the Sr Operations Support Manager.
Responsibilities:
- In depth learning of the working and processes of the Trinium system.
- Responsibility of accuracy in system setup and updates of AR/AP Rate information
- Learning manual and upload processes.
- Responsibility of accuracy in system setup and updates of Customer, Carrier and Consignee information.
- Timely response and completion of Ops Support ticket submissions and Ops Box (email).
- Timely responses on requests for system and project updates.
- To learn and understand how Trinium processes effect one another.
- Delivering effective coaching and training for operators users, as needed, on systems tools and processes
- Maintain and ensure Drayage processes are utilized uniformly across the drayage division.
- Future opportunity to lead and develop operational support team members
- At least 5 years’ experience in transportation experience, preferably in a port or rail drayage environment
- Must be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office; TMS/Trinium experience is a plus
- Respectfully expresses opinions and supports difficult decisions. Develops and delivers communications (verbal and written) that convey a clear understanding of the audience’s needs
- Experience in preparing and delivering training and coaching to operators
- Results focused and a desire towards continuous improvement
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to interact and influence individuals at all organizational levels
- Must be proactive and able to work independently
- Ability and availability to work extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed

We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $19.29-$25.72/HOUR. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
