Pay: $19/hour
The Dye Machine Operator retrieves customer dye specifications from a computer, prepares and mixes the required chemicals, and processes large rolls of fabric to meet quality standards.
- Lift dry and wet fabric, up to 50 lbs repetitively, to set up for dyeing process and after process is complete
- Work in a humid/wet environment
- Move wheeled boxes of fabric, with avg load of 200 lbs
- Retrieve dye directions from computer
- Read and understand dye slip instructions, in English
- Evaluate product for defects before and after processing
- Troubleshoot during process
- Handle, measure, dispense chemicals and dyes
- Other tasks assigned at the manager?s discretion
