- Weighs dye and mixes colors or formulas
- Builds Tank Runs
- Cleans tanks as needed
- Checks viscosity on dyes.
- Makes solution of colors to be used for adds.
- Makes adds to colors.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems
- Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
- Follow all established standard operating procedures
- Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
- Perform other tasks assigned by management
- Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school graduate or GED equivalency preferred.
- Prior experience working in a Dyeing department preferred, and/or equivalent combination of on the job training and work experience.
- Reads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.
- Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
- May be required to use PC and other department specific database systems.
- Interpersonal skills, manual dexterity, mechanical skills, math skills and judgement skills.
- Pays close attention to details.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations.
- Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, walk, sit, stoop and kneel.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds continuously throughout a 8-12 hour shift.
- Close vision depth perception and color perception are required to perform this job.
- Must be able to work 8-12 hour shifts either day or night, weekdays or weekends as scheduled.
