About the Role:
We’re hiring a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our Toddler/Twos team at Ashland Childcare Center. This position involves supporting young children (18–36 months) through hands-on learning, play, and social exploration.
You’ll be part of a collaborative teaching environment focused on helping toddlers build independence, express emotions, and reach developmental milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities for toddlers
- Support routines such as meals, naps, and toileting
- Foster emotional, social, and physical development through structured play
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Complete required documentation: attendance, reports, daily updates to families
- Work closely with coworkers and families to support each child’s growth
- Follow all policies, licensing regulations, and health/safety procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of toddler classroom or childcare experience
- Background check and health screenings required
- CPR/First Aid preferred or willingness to complete
- Strong teamwork, communication, and child guidance skills
