Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial, residential, and industrial spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaner will ensure that all areas are kept clean, sanitized, and well-maintained to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all.
Scope of Work:
Restrooms
- Clean mirrors and polish all metal and bright work
- Empty, Clean and replace liners for wastebaskets
- Clean and sanitize all sinks, fixtures, toilets and urinals
- Empty and clean sanitary napkin disposal
- Refill all soap, towel, toilet paper and seat cover dispensers
- Spot clean all partitions
- Sweep bathrooms
- Spot clean all walls
- Mop bathroom with disinfectant
KITCHEN:
- Empty wastebaskets
- Replace liners
- Dust countertops,
- Sweep/vacuum flooring
- Flat mop kitchen floors
- Monthly:
- Wipe down all light switches and doorframes
- Wipe exterior of appliances
OFFICE AREAS includes: private offices, cubicles/workstations, conference rooms and hallways
- Empty trash receptacles, remove trash to a disposal area; replace liners as needed
- Dust mop hard surface floors
- Flat mop hard surface floors
- Vacuum Carpeting
- Remove cobwebs from corners and ledges
- Dust horizontal surfaces and counters
- Dust along tops of cubicles
- Dust all window sills (interior office also)
- Dust all desks (around the items)
- Monthly:
- Vacuum detail corners and along baseboards
Have to be at location at 5am sharp. No excuses
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or porter services will be advantageous.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while completing tasks.
