Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Data Management and Program Evaluation
- Assemble randomized controlled samples as part of a wait-list control research design
- Develop and maintain internal tracking systems to monitor and report on program objectives
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of the program. Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative instrumentation, including surveys, interviews guides, and focus group protocols then prepares reports on program outcomes.
-Collaborate with project coordinator in conducting on-going assessments of related target audiences working in the region to determine their training needs and conduct pre- and post-training and three-month follow-up interval surveys to measure changes in literacy and knowledge of nutrition.
- Maintain data integrity and implement quality assurance protocols through the research cycle
- Coordinate logistics for data collection activities, including scheduling and participant communication
- Submit and manage research applications with local school districts
- Responsible for ensuring the protection of project data and training staff in the maintenance and security of these data.
- Develop research briefs and executive summaries to translate findings for school district partners and community stakeholders
- Translate findings to support program improvement
- Collaborate with PI on the writing of abstracts and manuscripts
Project Improvement
- Solicit donations, build relationships, write grant proposals, and collaborate with project leadership team to meet reporting requirements.
- Monitor team progress toward and fulfillment of specific contract or program goals
- Review and consult with Faculty to analyze training resources including software and instructional guides, ensuring trainers are using the most up to date and accurate information.
- Research new methods, evaluates relevance to the program, and proposes utilization when appropriate.
- Participate in weekly project meetings
- Complete timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Ensure integrity, quality and accuracy of programmatic records
Educational Curriculum
- Contribute to curriculum revisions based on outcome data and project needs under the guidance of UF faculty
- Responsible for aiding in development and implementation of new program materials.
- Identify, update, and create new instructional resources for environmental education lessons, such as activities, slide presentations, background information, videos, websites, and manuals. Additionally, this role involves periodically updating existing resources and collaborating with Florida educators.
- Assess training needs to ensure team members understand and properly implement Books & Cooks educational curriculum
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor, PI, or Co-PIs, provided they are allowed by the rules of the grant.

Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
Experience with family literacy, nutrition/food security, and parent-child education
Ability to contribute to a positive, productive team environment using leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and engage relevant partners and institutions
Ability to form and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues throughout the state, as well as Extension colleagues and program partners
Demonstrate a courteous and helpful manner, and a respect and appreciation for diversity in all its forms
Ability to maintain working files and revisions of documents
Proficient with Word, Excel, TEAMS and PowerPoint and able to quickly learn basics of new software
Ability to maximize tools for productivity, communication, and organization

Ability to maintain complete and organized records
Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
