Rexing Companies is expanding, and we’re looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Egg Processing Employee to join our growing team! If you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining quality standards, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Do:
- Load and unload eggs from cleaning machines
- Organize eggs into cartons, flats, and boxes for distribution
- Stack processed cases properly for transport to the cooler
- Ensure all cases coming off the grader are sealed and labeled correctly
- Monitor and maintain the tape machine to ensure proper sealing
- Bring up cartons from the carton room and restock throughout the day
- Maintain accurate inventory of rejects
- Properly dispose of trash and cardboard at the end of each shift
- Assist packers or candlers as needed
- Stack and move egg cases, racks, and skids safely and efficiently
- Clean the grader machine and related components
- Clean the egg candling area
- Clean scales, re-wash belts, floors, pans, buckets, etc.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the supervisor
Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform repetitive movements
- Commitment to strict animal welfare and biosecurity standards
- Availability for days and weekends (42-hour/ 6 days a week work week)
